Lights in the dark

This is at the cemetry at Lipowa street… it is an old necropolis,  home to some very old tombs, not just Roman Catholic ones. It dates back to the end of 18th and the beginning of early 19th century.

I do enjoy walking around the cemetry on a regular day when I get the chance todo so, because  it is  a reminder of the  many many generations that lived and worked in and for  this town. That always fills me with a sense of awe.

It’seven more beautiful on All Saints’ Day. I  really do love seeing all the lights at night, it’s gorgeous.  It fills the cemetery with life, in a way,  I feel like  I am  meeting dozens, thousands of departed souls all at once. The cemetery comes to life, feels populated and alive.
